Knowing Your Purpose

Take your Bibles and turn with me please to the book of Exodus, chapter 19. Exodus, chapter 19. We'll read that in just a moment. I want to be sure to review where we're at in a series about fulfilling God's plan. Because a lot of people don't know that God has a plan.

A lot of people don't know that he has a plan for their life. And then certainly if you don't know that he has a plan, I mean, how are you going to fulfill God's plan? We're going to stand before the judgment seat of Christ at the end to give an account for our life. And so we should fulfill the plan. We should fulfill the assignment we talked about.

The map can be trusted. Quick review. And then we're going to read the text in Exodus 19 from the New King James Version. The map can be trusted. God's word truly is God's word.

And I gave you an introduction, really, on proving that. I've had many people say to me in the course of my lifetime of serving God that, that that book is written by man. So I'm not going to obey some man, some man written book. And that of course is just an admission of their lack of education and ignorance, which many people would like to stay ignorant of. The truth that God's word is God's word.

Because if in fact it is God's word, then we will be held accountable for what it says. So to dismiss it and say that it's not God's word is. Is an excuse to continue to live in a way that you want to live. And the question that I posed to you at that, at that service, which is on YouTube, it's on Facebook, it's on Spotify, you can go and listen to that is who is your ultimate authority. Because if you are your ultimate authority, honey, Bubba, Jethro, you're going to have a problem.

Why is that? Because you're wrong about a lot of stuff, even though you think you're right. Anybody ever been wrong before? So let, let me read this to you. God's word is God.

Breathed means it's the ultimate source of authority, not man. Spoken by or breathed by God through men. It is inerrant, which means it's without error, it's infallible. Being. It's completely trustworthy.

The Bible is 66 different books written by 30 different authors over a 1500 year period. And it's a unifying message of redemption through the Old Testament which typifies or shadows the New Testament Christ, who is our redeemer, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. So we talked about having a map. This is basic life instructions before leaving earth. The Bible.

So we proved that. We went on from there to preach a message entitled Created for this. Who are you? We talked about last week how you're made in God's, God's image and likeness. And what does that mean?

That means that you're significant. You're not like a whale, you're not like a turtle, you're not like a little baby seal. You're not like anything in all of creation. You're very unique. You can think in terms of moral morality.

You can think in terms of right and wrong. You can think in terms of beauty. Most of you spent some time in front of a mirror to fix your hair, which takes me a very short period of time. That's it. Just right across.

Good.

We think in terms of beauty. The beauty of a sunrise. Dogs don't think that way. Just a quick review. Which is significant because life starts from conception.

It's the basis of understanding why abortion is wrong and murder is the greatest sin that could be committed. So we talked about that last week. Again, Much more to it. I'd encourage you to go listen to it today as we turn to Exodus, chapter 19. Knowing your purpose.

Knowing your purpose. Let's go ahead and stand for the reading of God's word. Would you stand with me?

Exodus chapter 19 and verse 1. New King James. You ready in Anchorage? Can I get an Amen at Anchorage? Amen.

Can I get an Amen in Wasilla? Amen. All right, let's go. In the third month, after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day they came to the wilderness of Sinai, for they had departed from Rephidium and had come to the wilderness of Sinai and camped in the wilderness. So Israel camped there before the mountain.

Verse 3. And Moses went up to God and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the children of Israel, verse 4, you have seen what I did to the Egyptians. And how I bore you on eagle's wings and brought you to myself. Who did what did he bring them to? Myself.

Verse 5. Read it with me right out Loud now. Therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to me above all people. For all the earth is mine. Verse 6.

And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words we you were to share with the children of Israel. Verse 7. Moses came and called the elders of Israel and laid before them all the words which the Lord had commanded them. Then all the people answered together and said, all that the Lord has spoken, we will do.

So Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord. Let's pray. Gracious awesome. Mighty God, thank you for this marvelous series and the hand selected individuals that you brought and will bring in the future even to listen and see and be a part of this message that our lives would be forever changed. Come on, put your hand on your own heart and pray for yourself.

Our lives would be forever changed. You would awaken us to destiny and purpose. You'd awaken us God today. In Jesus name, Amen. Turn to somebody and say, what are you doing here?

Go ahead, turn to your turn to somebody else and say, what are you, what are you here for? What are you here for? What is the purpose of being alive? I mean, that's a question that many have asked, philosophers have asked, scholars have asked, what is the purpose of being alive? What is your purpose for breathing?

So God has given us His Word. Word. He created us. He formed us and he breathed life into us. We're made in his image.

We're made in his likeness. Well, for what? Why? Come on, somebody say why?

There is a, a man by the name of Victor Frankl who is a Jew who survived the Nazi death camps. And he began to notice things in the camp. And what he noticed is that people who had, who had hope, people who had meaning, people who had purpose lived, people who had no hope and they had no sense of purpose or meaning. He called it meaning, wrote a book called the Search for Meaning. It's worth reading.

The people who, who had meaning in their life, that their life meant something and it wasn't even really like that meant something to God. It was just that they had meaning. Every day that those seemed to make it through the atrocities, you know, if they weren't sent to the gas chamber, they didn't give up. They, they, they had this hope, they had this, this meaning.

Purpose Driven Life written by Rick Warren. I spoke to him many years ago at a conference, got to eat lunch with him. He shared that when he wrote the Purpose Driven Life. By the way, He's a Baptist. When he wrote the.

When he wrote the Purpose Driven Life, he said, I would sit down at my computer and the clock would spin. And it was like a supernatural power from heaven came on me to write the book. And he wrote it in a very short period of time and at my last. At my last inspection, the Purpose Driven Life was the number two selling book of all time. All time.

Because the number one selling book of all time is the word of God that you have on your device or in your hand. Why would that be? Because most people have no clue of meaning in their life. They don't know what the purpose of their life is about. And if you don't have purpose and you don't have meaning, you'll have a tendency to give up.

And I love the story in the book. It talks about this young girl who. Who every morning would take this pin. She. She had this very special little pin.

It was a flower. And she would. She would pin it on her garment somewhere. And it was a picture of a reminder of creation and reminded that there's still flowers, a reminder that there's. There's a beauty still in the world, even though she was in the middle of those death camps and it gave her meaning.

Sigmund Freud suggests that the number one meaning for man is his sexual urges. I think he was a pervert.

That the number one meaning of your life is not to fulfill your sexual urges. Can I get it? Amen. Yeah, that's. That's crazy.

Adler is another philosopher and scholar. He. He said that all of mankind's desire, the base root of their desire for, is for power. And a man just gets power. He's satisfied.

That is also not true.

What are you doing here? The answer to that question is profound. And we're going to answer it today with a broad stroke and then next week going to talk about your divine assignment. There's a broad stroke of what your per. What the purpose of your life is, is really all about.

And we do have notes for you, so we'd encourage you to fill those in as we move along. Look at the text here. Moses is at the burning bush.

And God says to him, when you brought the people out of Egypt, you will come and worship me on this mountain. It seems like maybe to. To God or to God's people. And to. Moses said it was just a pit stop.

You're just. We're just gonna have a little worship service. That's not the point at all. God brought them to bring them into the bond of covenant. He brought them to bring them into purpose.

So it wasn't an apparent pit stop. It was of great importance. And God was going to reveal to them his perspective. Moses is called God's ambassador to the people. He's an ambassador.

He goes between. Or you could call him a priest, but we're going to look at that in a little minute. He would go between. You talk to God, and we go talk to the people. He.

And then the people would talk to him and he talked to God. He was God's spokesman, God's ambassador. And God declares what he's done for them as he's. As he delivered them. I mean, he delivered them.

It's amazing. Verse 4. You've seen what I've done to the Egyptians and how I bore you on the eagle's wings and brought you to myself. I love that I brought you to myself. He says he sets a choice before them and you'll see it in verse.

Verse 5. If you're all there, say amen. Verse 5. Looking right at the text now. Therefore, if.

If is a big word. If is the. Is the beginning of covenant language. If then clauses. You've heard me say it over all the decades that I've been your pastor.

All the decades. That sounds like 50 years. It's almost 20.

If you do this, then I will do this in response to you doing your part. If my people who are called by my name, 2nd Chronicles 7 and verse 14. If my people. If. So there's.

There is a choice. So he says to them, if. If what? Verse 5. If you will indeed obey my voice and keep my commandment, then.

Then you shall be a special treasure to me above all the people of the earth. The earth for the above all people. For the all the earth is mine. And if is a big word. And he begins to show them.

He begins to show them. Look at verse six. You shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you were to speak to Israel. And it's not just for Israel, is for us.

Today, God shows the fulfilling of his purpose. He shows. He shows the blessing. They'll receive the fulfillment of his purpose for them, but they have to do their part. You said, well, this is the Old Testament, Pastor.

I mean, what in God's name does that have to do with us today? We're New Testament believers. I'm glad you're saying that because this ought to sound a little familiar for those who've read through the New Testament, because it ties right into the book of Revelation. And it is a beautiful picture of what God's purpose for his people is. Still the same from the Old Testament.

He does not change. He doesn't change. So if you, if you see and understand this is kingdom of priests, a special treasure. It's still true today. A holy nation.

So God reveals his purpose for his people in this text and it certainly applies today, which I'm going to give New Testament tie ins so that you can base your faith on the Word.

He reveals his purpose for his people. The very thing that takes place in Egypt was a foreshadowing of God would, what God would do millennial later. It's a foreshadowing. What is a foreshadowing? Another literary term.

It's, it's, it gives a hint. It's a prophetic type, shadow of what is going to come. Hebrews says a shadow of the greater. So you read the Old Testament, it is a picture book of New Testament reality. And if you don't study the Old Testament and really learn the Old Testament as well, you won't really understand the New Testament in its fullness.

So God reveals his purpose for his people. He set Israel free by the blood of the Lamb and has redeemed us by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. Let me, let me, let me make that plain to you. What was the last plague in Egypt? It's the death of the firstborn.

What caused the death of the firstborn not to come upon the Jews? Well, first of all, it's not the Jews. It's anybody who, who obeyed. Obeyed what? That took the blood as instructed by Moses, who received the instructions from the Lord, take the blood of the lamb and put it on the doorpost and the lentils of their home, which by the way, makes a cross.

It's the final, the final plague, the final blow that breaks Egypt off of God's people. And one lamb for every household. And they do it. And the death angel comes, sees the blood and passes over. This is the first Passover, which by the way is at the time when we celebrate the resurrection.

Because when Jesus was crucified. Pay attention, pay attention. When Jesus was crucified, it was at Passover and at the time when they killed the lambs in acknowledgment of the Egyptian Passover. Passover, that's still celebrated by Jews today. That was the exact time that God's lamb, Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

Are you tracking with me? Is anybody following right now? That's the exact time that Jesus was crucified outside the camp. Just like. Just like the lambs were killed.

And so the blood of the lamb is what caused the death angel to pass over and Egypt be to be defeated. Then they loosed God's people. It's a picture that the blood of Jesus, God's lamb, looses you from bondage, looses you from the curse, sets you free from every yoke, from all sickness and disease. Can you say a better amen in the house of God? Amen.

So when you're reading this, he said, I brought you out and I brought you to myself. Understand that that is why he saved you. He. That's why he sent his son, so you could have relationship with him that ties into our identity. He brings us into a relationship with him by.

By His Spirit and then leads us and guides us. Oh, my. So we're reading this here in Exodus, but it certainly ties into us as New Testament believers. Are you tracking with me? Wave a white hand like a Baptist and go like that.

All right.

He brings us into relationship with him and His Spirit, who fills us and works through His Word and works through our lives, helps us. It's a revelation of relationship with him, we begin to realize our purpose. It's a revelation of relationship with God that you begin to realize your purpose. Say it with me. It's a revelation of our relationship with God that I begin to realize my purpose.

Because if it was just to be in relationship with God, then you would drop dead and you would. You wouldn't be here this morning because you've been brought into right relationship with God and then you're dead. So it only be unsaved people who don't know the Lord and are not in relationship with God. It would be here this morning. But that's not the case.

He says to Israel, if.

If you listen to my voice and obey, then verse four, you become a treasured possession. I want you to look at three New Testament passages. It will not be on the screen. Go ahead and. And turn in your Bible or on your device, whatever you have to.

First Peter, chapter two. And listen to the language of First Peter, chapter two, and verse nine. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. Does that sound vaguely familiar? It does sound familiar.

It' exactly what God said to Moses.

His own special people. Come on, somebody say I'm special. Yes, Special people that you mo may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Go to Titus, chapter 2, verse 14. Who gave Himself for us. Talking of Jesus that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for himself his own special people.

Zealous for good works, go to Ephesians, chapter 1, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance into the redemption of those who are God's possession. So we're a special treasure were God's possession.

It's this beautiful picture that ties identity really with purpose.

He goes on to say in verse six.

Now go to Revelation, chapter one, verse six.

Revelation 1, verse 6 says this to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins. Come on, somebody say that he freed me from my sins by his blood. And listen closely now. And has made us to be a kingdom and priest. Does that sound familiar?

Because it's exactly what he said to his people at Sinai, at the mountain of God. It's exactly what he said. It is now echoed in the New Testament. Why? Because we are to be a kingdom of priests.

That's what we're called to be. Come on, somebody say I'm a kingdom and a priest. Come on, say it. I'm a kingdom and a priest. This is part of the purpose for why he saved us at it very.

At the very root, a kingdom, a king has a kingdom, a dominion.

Kingdom, authority. You have authority. Say it. I have. I have authority.

Now the challenge, being your pastor and covering this, is to. To take you as deep as I can without you drowning. And yet at the same time, release, living, understanding to you that when you leave this place, you're filled with a greater meaning, greater hope, greater understanding of purpose for your life.

So I've done my very best to make it simple so that if you're here for the very first time and you're just hearing the name Jesus for the first time, you can understand it. Or if you've been here for many, many, many years, you've been serving God for 40 and 50 years, you're gonna hear something new that motivates you to fulfill his plan. That's my role here, to equip you for the work of ministry that you would understand. God has given you purpose. Come on, somebody say I've got purpose.

Your kingdom, which is dominion, is kingdom authority. It's reigning with Christ. Revelation 20, talking about kingdom. Revelation 20 and verse 4. Listen.

I saw thrones on which are seated those who were given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who have been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image, not received its mark on their foreheads or, or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. A thousand years.

There's a reigning with Him. This is not it. This is a test. This is an internship. This is moving through life.

Getting ready to rule and reign with him in the millennial reign and beyond. God has an amazing plan. He has a purpose for need to start your reign now.

Lift your hands to Jesus.

Hallelujah. Awaken us to that reality.

God's purpose for you and I is to. For us is on this planet is to demonstrate his kingdom. How do you demonstrate his kingdom? By living like him. By talking like him.

By doing what he did. What, what would Jesus do? What did he. What did. What would Jesus do?

Well, what did he do? He healed the sick. He set the captives free. He cast out devils. What?

Do you know what we're supposed to do? Heal the sick, Set the captives free. Cast out devils. That we're supposed to do what he did.

That's why you're still here. Priests. Man, that's heavy. Come on, somebody say that's heavy. That's heavy duty.

Priests. What does a priest do? Priest is a mediator. Moses is a type of priest as he goes and talks to God and come back and talk to the people. You don't need a priest.

You are one.

You are a priest. Martin Luther wrote a book called the priesthood of all believers. And from the book of Romans he. He revealed to people and, and I mean he was persecuted. Catholics tried to kill him.

And Martin Luther is. He also wrote a book called Jews and their little Lies is one of the first ones to cause anti Semitism to be propagated throughout the church. Which is wicked. And yet he was used to bring the Reformation. How is it that you can be used to bring the Reformation at the same time be used to bring forth hatred at such a level?

That's crazy, isn't it? Most people don't know that the church is the ones who really started anti Semitism more than anyone. It's not the Muslims, it's the Church. That's why you don't want to just run up and try to convert a Jewish person. You want to just be their friend.

You want to love them. You want to live like Christ. You want to show them the love of God. And don't try to come up with the four spiritual laws and ram it down a Jewish, Jewish person's throat. They're that they don't.

They don't take kindly to it. Why? Because they don't trust a church. I Didn't do anything. No.

For thousands of years, the church have tried to kill Jews. And they would say things. Man, you should look at what I'm looking at right now, Pastor Karen, is people like, come on. Can you say amen in Anchorage? Can you say amen and Wasilla, this is just good preaching.

You just. You don't hear it because we just throw the church under the bus. But the truth is that's. That's the way it is. We're supposed to be a friend.

This is thousands of years of history that is literally imprinted on people, and we just expect them to throw it off and just receive Jesus. It's not quite like that. Maybe if we live and model what it really is to be a kingdom and to be priests, I bet we would see more Jews converted.

You missed a great place to say, Ben, can you say Amen? All right. Priests are mediator. God's intention and purpose is for us is to be a mediator. I'm constantly mediating, trying to reach people.

We're to be servants. Not only to be servants, we're to be people who have access to God because of what he's done for us. Hebrews 9 and 7 says this, but only the high priest entered the inner room and that once a year and never without blood, which he offered for Himself. Hebrews 9, verse 7. The sins of the people committed in ignorance.

The Holy Spirit was showing. This is a type and shadow again, Old Testament Holy Spirit showing by this that the way to the most holy place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning. This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to cleanse the conscience of the worshiper. In other words, their sin would still remain. Verse 10.

They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings, external regulations applying until the time of the new order. Everybody say the new order. And here he describes a new order. Verse 11. But Christ came as a high priest of the good things that are now already here.

He went through the greater, more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands. That's to say, that is not part of this creation. He did not enter by the means of blood of bulls and goats and calves, but entered the most holy place once and for all by his blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. Verse 13. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of the heifer sprinkled on those who were ceremonially unclean.

Sanctify them so that they were outwardly clean. How much more then will the blood of Christ, who suffered the eternal Spirit offered him, unblemished to God, cleanse your conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may serve the living God? You have to understand that he's redeemed you. He's washed you, he's cleansed you. If, in fact you've repented of your sin and he's made you to be, yes, a kingdom and yes, a priest to have access.

You know, when I got a hold of this, I was. I was in his program, discipleship program. And I realized I didn't need anybody to lay hands on me. I mean, it was like the light bulbs went off in my spirit. I. I didn't.

I didn't need anybody to pray for me. And I understood that's biblical, and of course it's biblical. Everybody needs a pastor. We all need people to help us. But I understand that I could just lift my hands and have an encounter with God.

I didn't need a preacher. I didn't need somebody laying hands on me. I didn't need a great worship team. I didn't need anything. I understood that I could just lift my hands and enter on into his presence.

And, man, it was like, whoa. I went home and I just walked around with the power of God resting on me. Come on, you've got a purpose. And it's to be a kingdom. It's to be a priest.

Can you say Amen? I can't help myself. I'm going to read chapter 10, verse 19. Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the most holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way open for us through the curtain that is his body. Verse 21, Hebrews 10, verse 21.

And since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart of full assurance of that faith brings. Having our hearts sprinkled to cleanses from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed pure water, let us hold unswervingly to the hope that we profess. For he who promises faithful, let us consider how we can spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as we see the day. There is a day, a specific day, the day approaching.

We're a kingdom. We're priests. We have one high priest. His name is Jesus. So you don't need to.

There's confession, one to another, pray for one another. That you may be healed. But Catholics have used that as a means to ordain their. Their priests that you need a priest or somebody confessed to. You are a priest.

A priesthood of all believers. Yet it is important to have accountability and to share with a brother in Christ or your wife or your husband what you're going through and have them pray for you that you may be healed. As priests, we have provision.

You know, I've said this outreach yesterday, frankly, couldn't stop crying. I just couldn't stop crying. I. So many people in the middle of Anchorage, in some gym. So many people.

I'm weeping. Was weeping for a number of reasons. I'm weeping because I was just. Just so proud of John who. John and Anna who.

And they got kicked out of counseling. If you get kicked out of counseling, you know, you have issues, get ptsd, Was a drug addict. Life is messed up. He came in, he got gloriously saved. I think he had prayed and received Jesus at a camp.

You want to make sure you send your kids to camp. And then he drifted from the Lord over the years as a. As a young person. So he comes back to Christ. He gets radically delivered, gets set on fire, gets filled with the spirit, goes through leadership here and then launches out.

And he's got. He's had many people that have poured into his life for which we're grateful. And here he is expressing his faith, believing God. God provides. He gets all of these things to bless these people of Anchorage, preaches the gospel.

I sat there weeping, and I thought, oh, my gosh, it's a miracle. It's a miracle. And then I'm weeping because of the great need for so many people who don't know Jesus sitting next to a lady. I'm weeping. I'm hiding in the back.

I didn't. I didn't go up front. And, you know, they wanted to give me a seat up front and honor me. I just want. I snuck in.

I did skip the line. I confess.

Sat in the back. I'm sitting next to this lady, and I'm weeping because of all the people and the gospel being preached. And. And this lady says, I saw you this morning, Mike. Oh.

She says on Facebook, I saw you. I'm like, oh. She says, I saw you pray for that young man. And I started crying again, and I think she was weeping also. She said, he's doing a really good job.

I said, yeah, he's doing a great job.

I said, I'm so proud. She said, oh, you should be. We're from Big Lake. I said, oh, also drove from Big Lake all the way into the outreach. A holy nation.

Come on, somebody say a holy nation. What does that mean? Second Peter. To be a holy nation. We talked about.

We're a kingdom, we're priests. This is your purpose. So. But, yeah, Pastor, but I want to know if I should stay in Alaska or if I should move to California. And this girl Jeanette, I want to know if I should marry her.

That's. That's a part of your assignment. That's next week. This is an over, overarching, broad stroke that this is what you should be doing in every assignment. And every assignment.

You should be the kingdom being put on display. You should be a priest. You should be a holy nation.

Second Peter, chapter one, verse three. His divine power has given us, I think, everything we need for godly life through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Verse 4. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises. Listen closely so that through them, Everybody say, through them.

Through them. Through what? Through the promises, you may participate in the divine nature. All right, let me help you meditate on it. He's given us.

His promises are in his word. There's a promise for everything in life. Promise of health. There's promise of salvation, forgiveness. There's a promise of deliverance.

There's a promise for provision. There's. There's some say there's over 8,000 promises, promises. I mean, there's a lot of promises, and they're the basis by which we participate. Listen closely.

Participate in the divine nature. In other words, when you get a promise that greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world, that's a promise. And then I believe that. I internalize that. Then I begin to walk in that.

He's in me. He's great in me. He's great in you. Greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. I can do all things through Christ.

Do you know what that actually happens? What that says is that by through those promises, what happens, it releases power that you actually become greater than he that's in the world. That actually you manifest the power to do all things through Him. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When you believe that and you put your faith to it and you begin to move in that dimension, it releases his nature by the power.

Is anybody listening to me right now? So. So what you do is you take the promises and through them he releases his divine nature. And in so doing you become a holy nation.

Listen, what I just said needs to. You need to ponder that. You need to go, like, what?

So are you telling me that I've got divine power for everything? I need for this life with God to fulfill my purpose, my assignment? I've got divine power. I've got power. Divine power.

I mean, raise the dead kind of power. I have divine power. I have divine power if I'll just obey the promises. And through these promises, I can participate in your divine nature. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying.

A lot of people. I've had people just try to walk in divine power, but they don't have the promises. In fact, what they're believing is skewed. It's bent.

It's worth thinking about and talking about. Your. Talking about at your kitchen table with your children, your wives and your husbands. You're supposed to have a. A public testimony.

We must choose. We must know. Choose. We must possess God's purpose. You've got to know it.

I've. I've made it to you. Very broad stroke. Go back. That's why I gave you notes today, because you're like.

That's not the kind of, like, message where you hear me, like, yeah, what do you say? Ah, I know. 100% sure. That's why I gave you notes. So you take it home and go through it as a Bible study and get it deep down in your spirit.

Because the same purpose that was for Israel is really just God's people. And the purpose that was for Israel is a purpose that is for also for us, because we are God's people, grafted in by the Lamb of God. That takes away the sin of the world. To be a kingdom, to be treasures. Pastor Kirsten always says to his kids, my precious treasures.

It's absolutely a biblical idea of the heavenly father saying to us, you're my special treasure, my possession. You're a holy people, a royal priesthood. Did you get it? Well, so what do priests do? They mediate.

What does the kingdom do? It expands. You put the kingdom on display. You've got authority. You've got provision.

You got everything you need. It is really the broad stroke, purpose for being alive. Did you get that? It is a theological truth you need to internalize. And if I lost you, that's why I gave you notes.

Hey. We love you every Head bowed, every eye closed as we bring this to conclusion.

Are you right with God? Just need to change teams right now. You need to switch over from the, from the. The team of separation and darkness from God to being on his team. You need to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

If you've never done that, do it today. Every head bowed, every eye closed. And I encourage in here.

You want to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the lamb that takes away that your sin, my sin. If you believe in your heart the Bible says, and confess with your mouth, you shall be saved. Where are you? If you died, God forbid today, would you go to heaven? You go to church your whole life and miss that point.

You must be born again. You must receive Jesus. Won't you do it now? And for those of you that are right with God, you're. Why don't you affirm your faith?

Would you lift your hands to heaven, Father, now in Anchorage and here in Wasilla and all those online, let your power come. Break every stronghold, break every lie. Release a revelation of purpose to your people, to your church, your bride, your called out ones. Cleanse from the former things, now use for noble purposes, that we would be your treasured possession. We're answering the if we're believing in you, we're going to obey your word.

We obey the words of your son, received him as our Lord and Savior. Then we become this treasured possession, this holy nation, priesthood, a kingdom. May we live that way, putting you on display as we fulfill even our divine assignment, which we'll talk about next week. God, thank you for what you've done, what you're doing in the state of Alaska. We pray your blessing, God, that we would participate in your divine nature as we stand on your promises and see them fulfilled.
