Welcome to King’s Community Emergency Response Team

King's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of dedicated volunteers trained to assist in emergency situations when professional responders may not be immediately available. We are part of a nationwide initiative to build stronger, more resilient communities.


Our volunteers logged over 470 hours in 2024. In 2025, their impact continued to grow, with over 678 hours served, supporting community events, disaster response, preparedness training, and direct service to families in need.

Our Mission

  • To provide immediate assistance to our neighbors in times of crisis.
  • To support local emergency services in their efforts to save lives and protect property.
  •  To educate our community about emergency preparedness and safety.

What We Do

Training: Our team members undergo training in first aid, search and rescue techniques, fire safety, and disaster psychology.

Response: In the event of an emergency, we are ready to deploy and provide vital support to those in need. We are activated by the local Emergency Operations Center.

Education: We offer free training courses and workshops to help community members prepare for and respond to emergencies effectively.
