King’s Alaska Branding Guide
What is a brand? and why do we care?
Branding is an organized way to clearly communicate what we believe through everything that we do at King’s Alaska
A brand is communication, visuals, and experience. A brand is a person’s gut feeling about a product, service, or organization. Brands are defined by the people experiencing them, not the people “managing” them. The perception of a brand varies from person to person. We can’t control it. But we can influence that gut feeling through excellence and consistency.
Branding matters. In Acts 17:5-8, we see branding elements in descriptions of the church at Thessalonica. These believers were known for turning “the world upside down” (v. 6) as followers of Jesus Christ. They clearly had a reputation in their community.
These guidelines aren’t just a bunch of rules. They’re a set of principles and standards that help our staff, volunteers, and contractors communicate our mission clearly and consistently.
These brand guidelines will help King’s Alaska be consistent in our communication of who we are to the community around us.
